We believe P & A Flanged and Flued Expansion Bellows are superior to the thin wall accordion type bellows. Established in 1989, P & A has been supplying expansion joints to the phosphate and chemical industry for over 20 years.
What is an Expansion Joint?
An expansion joint is an assembly designed to safely absorb the heat-induced expansion and contraction of construction materials, to absorb vibration, to hold parts together, or to allow movement due to ground settlement or earthquakes. They are commonly found between sections of buildings, bridges, sidewalks, railway tracks, piping systems, ships, and other structures.
Our Expansion Joints
P & A can custom form to nearly any size in most types of metal including A36, A516-70, 304 stainless, 316 stainless, 317 stainless, 904 stainless and many more. We can form wall thicknesses from 16ga. - 1/2".
We supply these in halves to other fab shops who want to do their own welding or we offer them fully welded by our own certified welders. Our welds are die penetrant tested and can be x-rayed or tested to your specifications.
